DIDIM:
Didim is located on the shore of the northern Gulf of Gulluk vis- towards the villages of Peninsula such as Bodrum Torba Türkbükü and Yalýkavak. The area consists of Didim itself, a coastal city of 26,000 people and a number of small towns including Altýnkum (which means golden sand), Gümüþkum (silver sand), Sarýkum (yellow sand) and, well you get the picture ....
Tourism is the main source of income for the sector, particularly in summer, but agriculture is also an important factor, the main crops are wheat and cotton. Animals, especially sheep and goats are raised mainly for local consumption. This coast
has become a popular resource for holidays and is genuinely attractive with its long sandy beaches, clear blue sea free to visit ancient ruins, and its own microclimate, benefiting hundreds of days of sunshine per year and warm winters, allowing residents to enjoy the beaches and water sports even in January.
